Charges Laid Against Alleged Gang Associates in 2014 Case

Charges have now been laid by Crown Counsel against two men as a result of a 2014 investigation into the alleged activities of senior members of the “856” gang.

Drugs1In early July 2014, the CFSEU-BC launched an investigation into the alleged drug trafficking activities of several 856 gang members. On July 22nd and 23rd, 2014 three men were arrested in Langley and significant quantities of drugs were seized following the execution of a search warrant on an apartment. Two of those men have now had charges laid against them.

Leonard Alan Joseph Pelletier, a 48-year-old Langley man, has now been charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.

Jason Francis Wallace, a 26-year-old Langley man, has now been charged with six counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Both Wallace and Pelletier are next scheduled to appear in Surrey Provincial Court at 1:30 p.m. on July 15th.
