Man Wanted for Murder Arrested in Langley by CFSEU-BC

On July 30, 2026, the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia (CFSEU-BC) arrested a man in Langley who was the subject of a Canada-wide warrant for murder out of Winnipeg.

The arrest was led by CFSEU-BC’s Uniform Gang Enforcement Team (UGET), with support from CFSEU-BC investigative teams. The accused, Tresor Horimbere was number four on the Canada’s most wanted list on the BOLO Program.

CFSEU-BC and Winnipeg Police Service worked closely to locate and apprehend Horimbere. High risk arrest was conducted with the assistance from the RCMP Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team (IERT). Officers were able to safely bring Horimbere into custody.

Following the arrest, Horimbere was transferred to the custody of the Winnipeg Police Service, which will lead all further proceedings and public communications. “No single police agency can combat violent crime alone. The successful arrest of a fugitive wanted for murder is the result of strong partnerships, intelligence-led policing, and the dedication of officers committed to public safety. CFSEU-BC’s Uniform Gang Enforcement Team and Investigative Units work alongside policing partners across British Columbia to locate and apprehend high-risk offenders, ensuring they are brought before the courts while minimizing risk to the public and responding officers. This arrest is another example of what can be achieved when law enforcement agencies work together with a shared commitment to protecting our communities”, said Sgt. Sarbjit K.
