Comprised of highly trained police officers with advanced tactical and operational capabilities, UGET delivers intelligence-led, proactive enforcement against the province’s highest-threat organized crime groups and individuals responsible for violence and criminal activity. The team provides a coordinated, rapid-response capability in support of planned enforcement initiatives and emerging incidents, working alongside CFSEU-BC investigative units and municipal, provincial, federal, and international law enforcement partners.
UGET conducts targeted enforcement operations, apprehends high-risk offenders, executes judicial authorizations, seizes firearms, illicit drugs, proceeds of crime, and other evidence, and develops actionable intelligence to support complex investigations and strategic enforcement priorities. Through the integration of frontline enforcement and intelligence collection, the team strengthens the provincial response to organized crime while supporting the identification, disruption, and dismantling of criminal networks operating throughout British Columbia.
