PTEP Coordinator – Permanent, Full-Time
Provincial Tactical Enforcement Priority (PTEP) – Green Timbers
Working within the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit – BC (CFSEU-BC), British Columbia’s integrated anti-gang police agency, the Organized Crime Agency of BC (OCABC) is recruiting a hard-working, self-motivated candidate to coordinate that PTEP process for CFSEU-BC.
Reporting to the Criminal Intelligence Analyst Supervisor, this position will be responsible for:
Participating in the daily operations of the PTEP program
•Creating each cycle’s PTEP calendar for PTEP participants, PTEP team members and management
•Coordinating the work of PTEP analysts
•Creating PTEP task list detailing tasking and deadlines for the PTEP team and advising PTEP analysts and management of tasks and associated deadlines
•Coordinating and hosting the PTEP targeting and police of jurisdiction meetings in each district
•Establishing and maintaining effective and efficient relationships with PTEP partner agencies across all four districts
•Providing training and direction to new PTEP employees and PTEP partner agencies to support each agency’s effective participation in the PTEP program
•Evaluating PTEP data and products including threat submissions, monthly activity reports, PTEP Roster and Threat Evaluations
•Working in conjunction with E Div HUB on production and quality control of PTEP products/deliverables
•Updating and maintaining PTEP Integrated Collaborative Environment (PTEP-ICE) site
•Creating and maintaining PTEP groups in Criminal Analysis Search Tool (CAST) for use by all E Division Analysts
•Tracking and maintaining all PTEP Investigative funding requests and allocated funding to PTEP partner agencies as well as participating in the funding committee
•Managing the PTEP confidential electronic filing system of all PTEP material, RTIC intelligence reports, ISOC HUB and other intelligence related material
•Other related duties, as required
We are looking for a strong team player with a great attitude, and the following qualifications:
•Completion of a high school diploma. Relevant post-secondary education would be an asset.
•Experience providing client-focused services including creating and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders
•Experience with PRIME-BC, Criminal Analysis Search Tool (CAST) and the RCMP Integrated Collaborative Environment (ICE) would be an asset.
•Knowledge and understanding of PTEP process and all of the cycle stages from threat submission to outcome reporting would be an asset
•Knowledge of police operations in British Columbia and experience reviewing police materials would be an asset
•Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision
•Strong computer skills and demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
•Strong Adobe skills and demonstrated experience working with Adobe Forms
•Ability to plan and organize workload including prioritizing multiple conflicting requests
•Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
•Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-agency environment
•Ability to coordinate and deliver training/information sessions
•Ability to perform quality control of documents
•Ability to provide advice and make recommendations to management
•Ability to obtain and maintain a RCMP Enhanced security clearance
Annual Salary: $70,902.00 – $73,710.00 – $76,518.00 – $79,345.50 – $82,153.50
This is a civilian unionized position with CUPE 718, working 37.50 hours per week. Rates negotiated in the new collective agreement with CUPE 718 will be applied to the current annual salary effective April 1, 2025.
This position requires in-office attendance.
