Abbotsford Police Arrest Corey Ross Foster

On November 4th, 2013 the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia posted a news release asking for the public’s help in locating Corey Ross FOSTER. On Tuesday, November 13th, 2013, Foster was arrested by the Abbotsford Police Department. For further details please see the APD news release.

Abbotsford Police Arrest Corey Ross FOSTER

Yesterday afternoon at 3:15 pm the Abbotsford Police Department received a report from an alert citizen reporting a suspicious male walking in the rural west end of Abbotsford. Shortly after, the Abbotsford Police Patrol Division attended the area and located the male.

During police interactions the unknown male provided a story to officers that was inconsistent with him being in the area. Further, the unknown male provided a name to police that also appeared to be false.

Through investigation police determined that in fact the male was actually Corey Ross FOSTER who was subsequently arrested for 29 outstanding charges consisting of assault, weapons, breach of court imposed conditions, and property related charges.

Corey FOSTER was the subject of a news release issued by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia on November 4th, 2013.

This arrest is truly an example of how reporting suspicious activity within our community can lead to police apprehending wanted criminals.
