CFSEU-BC Announces New Media Relations Officer

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAPlease be advised that the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia has a new Media Relations Officer. Sgt. Bill Whalen takes on his new post effective immediately.

A 23-year-veteran police officer, Sgt. Whalen has been with CFSEU’s organized crime section for over five years. He’s been involved with some of CFSEU’s most high-profile investigations including E-PINTLE, a cocaine conspiracy case that included the arrests of Jarrod Bacon and Wayne Scott. The case is currently before the courts.

While much of his work with CFSEU has been operational, Sgt. Whalen, has also acted in the capacity of part-time media spokesperson. He now takes on those duties full-time.
