Three individuals have been charged in connection with files generated by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of BC’s (CFSEU-BC) Uniform Gang Enforcement Team (UGET) during proactive enforcement activities conducted in late 2025 and early 2026.
On February 6, 2026 UGET Officers conducted a traffic stop with a driver who was prohibited from driving a motor vehicle. On February 26, 2026, Gursevak Singh Nagra was charged with the following:
• Driving a vehicle on a highway or industrial road, knowing that they were prohibited, contrary to section 95(1) of the Motor Vehicle Act.
On December 17, 2025, UGET officers attempted a traffic stop that led to an arrest of one man who has been charged with multiple offences.
On February 26, 2026 Joshua Charles Lanksbury Redman was charged with the following:
• While operating a motor vehicle while being pursued by a peace officer, failed to stop the motor vehicle, contrary to section 320.17 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
• Operating a conveyance in a manner that, having regard to all circumstances was dangerous to the public, contrary to section 320.13(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
On November 26, 2025 UGET officers conducted a traffic stop that led to one man being charged with multiple offences.
On February 25, 2026, Chase William Flemming Hall was charged with the following:
• Possession of ammunition while prohibited from doing so, contrary to section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
• Possession of another person’s identity document, contrary to section 56.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
• Fraudulently personate another individual with intent to avoid arrest, contrary to section 403(1)(d) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Collectively, these three files highlight how focused and strategic enforcement activities, such as traffic stops, can escalate into significant criminal investigations and charges that support community safety. Traffic stops are often misunderstood; however, these examples demonstrate how a seemingly simple interaction can become more complex depending on the circumstances.
All three individuals are expected to appear in court at a later date.
